Not a hardcore fan of them, but I do listen to some of their songs.
Haters gonna hate, anyway.
I don't complain to any bands who change their sounds a lot, or the ones that remain the same until now. As long as their musics are nice to listen to.

I can listen to Nickelback, enjoy the music, sing along, and have a good time. The lyrics have meaning, the songs are catchy, and it isn't complete crap. Sure, they sound similar, but you try and write four albums with 10+ songs and not have 5 or more with similar chord progressions. Plus, I'm sure we all agree Nickelback is much better than Bieber, Gaga and all that other non-talented pop crap rising to stardom these days.

@McZidanne The thing that makes everyone so angry about Nickelback is that there are groups out there who make innovative, GOOD music but struggle to get their work into the mainstream. Meanwhile, bands like Nickelback get tons of radio play and sell out stadiums with mediocrity. And the difference between these guys and Pink Floyd (not gonna comment on Guns or ACDC, I don't care for them) is that Pink Floyd has talent, they're influential and phenomenal. You can't say that for Nickelhack.

Er, it's not just the tempo though. It's the chord structure, bridge, chorus, everything.
They are virtually identical (even though one has been pitch shifted).
