Skip that annoying cutscene at Euryale's Temple where you are forced to watch that guy that breaks the Crank. This saves time in a speed run in two ways: 1st: You dont have to see the cutscene and 2nd: For some reason the elevator is already lowered halfway down.
How does this glitch work? Im not really sure, but I can only explain what I did (I tried it a few times just to make sure its not just a one-off glitch).
Once you jump over the blue barrier (with the "evil head") and land....then do a double jump over that round patch on the ground and towards that trail of water on the ground, then QUICKLY roll (as close to the wall as possible) towards the elevator. (The key seems to be to do this as QUICK as possible! And against the wall where the water is).
After I climb the second elevator I backtracked to trigger the cutscene, just to show that I hadn't triggered the cutscene earlier before doing the video.

Interesting. And Akheon's comment, if confirmed, gives a lil more insight into how unloading/loading of areas works. Am sure there would be couple more locations where similar glitch can be worked out, though can't recall one right now. Will keep an eye out on my NUR+ run.

Yeah AKheon's comment has been confirmed, it can still be done after the battle, I even took my time approaching the exit door.

After the battle? You mean if you fight the battle to finish and wait for 'gate' to drop? Am confused now S:

What I meant to say was that I've tried this glitch twice.
Once like you see here in the video. (In which I jumped over the blue 'evil-head" barrier) And then did double jumps to somehow skip the "crank guy" cutscene.
And earlier on today I redid this glitch that you see in this video, but with the difference that I killed all the enemies at that battle that takes place at the bottom of the long ladder first.

I suppose this doesn't work if you don't skip the fight before it?

I tried it just then. I killed all enemies at the battle, the blue "evil" barrier went away. I then did normal double jumps through the area like in this vid (no sub-weapon-change jumps) and again....no cutscene, Im pretty new to glitches, any idea what this might mean for other parts of the game?
Im starting to think that some "cutscene triggers" have triggers of their own that can be skipped. Remember how I managed to trigger the Lahkesis arena, but somehow the cutscene did not appear...
