@sarek63 I don't think it'd come back - one it had poor ratings as mentioned and then to add to it Roy Schneider and Jonathan Brandis are dead - former due to heath, the latter committed suicide.
I didnt' think it was bad myself until they changed it to the future.

@xsf908 Seaquest was canned because Season2 made no sense and Season3 was crap on a stale cracker. But it had potential. B5 Crusade was canned because no one cared to watch after the epic ending of the original B5 Series. There was no point to it. Space: Above and Beyond was canned because it was too thoughtful for its own good... and it was on Fox.
