Have you done any tub removal from a trailer home? If so is it the same?

hi, i had a quick question. i was replacing my backerboards around my tub for new tiles. at the top where old backerboard and new backerboard meet, there is a 2" gap. Can i use 6" waterproof roofing tape to seal the two joints and tile over it?

My pleasure. The tubs you speak of that are broken are cast iron. They are to heavy to move so a sledge hammer is used. Thanks for your comment.
