  • @skint0n0minted Yeah but if you know your theory, it makes it easier to understand and convey the emotions you feel. Say you wanted to show a dark and dreary mood. Locrian would work perfectly, and you would have a place to start.

  • I have been playing guitar for 7 years, touring for 5 and have thousands of hours of fly time (live play time) and haven't really experimented with this. Very cool little tip that I am kinda kicking myself for not thinking of myself.
