  • Hell yea! Sweet ride

  • @andrewupsidedown thanks man, since this video I am working on a new version of this truck. Version 2.0 I guess you could say, based on what I have learned that worked well and things that needed to be changed. Stay tuned!

  • And does it fit correctly with the SCX10 tranny ?

  • @tabledechevet2007 Hi, I switched the spur and pinion with the same ones that a Traxxas Slash uses. Yes it fits correctly but be warned this gearing will create heat, I also ended up putting a Castle Creations SCT motor/esc combo in the truck and on 2s lipo it produced plenty of speed and power along with lower temps. While this combo can run 3s the truck just handles ridicules if you run it on 3s it will eventually over heat. If you have any more questions feel free to private message me.

  • @tabledechevet2007 yeah you have to thread the first screw on just a couple threads then get the second one going. After you get the second in it fits like a glove and spins straight while running, its not warped or anything like that.

  • nice rig. im just getting into rc's myself. i just picked up a summit and am doing a lot of moding for better crawling. nice vid! great song

  • @zfreeman55 Thanks! Well welcome to the hobby, Summits are really cool. Make sure you get some video :)

  • That was cool, perfect song to match the video. I'm inspired, I might have to try motor and speed control out of my slash4x4

  • Hi !

In your set-up, you changed the spur gear with a 40 T ? Where did you find it please ? Because I use a 87 T and it's definitely too slow !

    Thanks !

  • @RCWinnipeg i have one video up already, but i melted my engine during the film. lol, and i am stationed in germany so i have to order all my parts. but my new engine and gearing should be in soon so there will be more videos to come. check it out at my channe and let me know what you think
