  • Peter Garrett joined the labor party because he knew that it through it he could make bigger differences to Australia. I have a lot of respect for him.

  • How tall is he?

  • Garrett,you`re a fuckwit,get out of politics you muppet.

  • @Mediterraneanblue9 7 feets (over 2.1 meters)

  • At least he is involved, as Frank Zappa, John Lennon, Bono and many other artists were instead of sitting back and reaping corporate wealth in silence like so many artists do, give the man credit for taking a stand since its your apathy as workers, taxpayers or citizens that force people like him to make a difference when all you do is hide behind a curtain to cast your opinions.

  • spend Aussie dollars to give Israelis more money, luv it

  • What a sellout.

  • Whats your opinion on what should happen next? derr I think I will keep using my credos from midnight oil & then when I am in a position of power, I will do fuck all & lick the dirty boots of the labour party. What an Ausi hero! Interested in nothing but himself

  • he's totally USELESS as a politician

  • @Herenionn " went back on everything i promised har har har!!!!!!!

    - peter garret 2010

  • @litehouse6 I give you respect for being one of the few commentators here talking the issues rather than Garret the man, but he probably says : its a mess far worse than when Saddam was strongarming the local factions apart and telling us that he didn't have any weapons of mass destruction.....BTW do you reckon Halliburton blew your gulf of mexico rig to splash oil in Obama's face? Or wouldn't they stoop that low at home?

  • Garret is so predictable, it's hard so we should quit is his pitch here. Apparently he doesn't think that the Iraqi people should have had Saddam's boot taken off their necks, typical selfish new politician.
