Some brilliant pickups mate, "Last Resort", enough said! You must be one of the very few i know of who own the Marty, From what i've seen, seems it recieved some really classy looking arcade ports. As for your TV situation, there's always the (SLG3000) option heh! For the authentic scanline appearance. Andro Dunos is a good shooter in my view as well. Hope you recover the lost game eventually too, good luck with that one. :D

@MENDEZ1628 Just ordered an SLG3000, cant wait man! The Marty is a nice system, shame the games are so expensive but most of the ports are arcade perfect. Cheers mate

Some lovely shmup related pickups and riding hero! I managed to pick up a complete copy for 7 quid and can see why it was so cheap! Thanks for the lowdown on Andro too, I always wondered how it played

wow some ridiculously good pickups there. I buy alot from playasia and they are reliable and great cust service etc. but recently ive had a few games that have taken 5 wks to arrive, even to the point on not thinking id get them. I've just got otomedius x, bullet soul through but they arrived before eschatos which cam e out before and i ordered all of them at the same time as well as akai katana. Would love an fm towns. What advice can you give to someone who knows nothing about them..

@AmidstStorm There may be others but information on the software library is really hard to get. Games are mega expensive as well, you could nearly buy the arcade PCB for the amount some people want on ebay, but there's a few websites you can download iso's and bargains do come along every so often. Hope that helps..

@AmidstStorm Thanks man, There's 2 main FM Towns Marty Models, they are both identical hardware wise but there are a few cosmetic differences ie the Marty 2 is a darker grey and has yellow buttons, but that really is it. The Marty 1goes for about £150 and the Marty 2 about £250. There are some great games, but they are limited and expensive. Shmup wise you have Image Fight, Tatsujin Ou (awesome port), Raiden, Rayxaber, Kyukyoku Tiger, view point and Alltynex, but thats all I know of.

@AmidstStorm model types, prices (i know theyre not cheap).. is it really worth the cash? im a shmup fan/collector so its been on my radar for awhile now.

@futurematt5 Thanks Matt. You should give that 2D fighter another go, I know its not generally your thing, but it really is very good. Andro Dunos is a great little shmup, ok graphicly its not a patch on blazing/pulstar and the likes but the all important gameplay is there. I will indeed pop a vid up soon :)
