Sterling: im sorry this all had to go down this way.
Demi: so am I, but Im not going through this again. Im done.
Sterling: why cant we just.. why cant we just get along?
Demi: you tell me, even if you cant see it.. I try... I try my best to keep up with you, because even if I tell myself I don't.. I love you.
Sterling: so why cant we just start over, forget everything?
Demi: Sterling, the honest truth is id love to, but.. its too much for me.. as much as we try.. we might not be the right one for each other.
Sterling: I thought that through.. I tried to let any girl get to my head... but you just seem right.. you're the first girlfriend ive ever opened up to... perhaps you didn't know I played guitar.. but.. that could of changed... I just... I don't know how to change all of this.
Demi: well to be honest, I have nothing to say but to offer you friendship.
Sterling: so your saying that were completely over?
Demi: *looks down in tears*
Sterling: because.. I just need a simple answer.. if you say yes ill walk away.. im hoping that you'll let me lose on this one.. and say no.. in fact im going to.. STAY HERE!
Demi: *looks up confused and sees Sterling running to her house*
Sterling: *runs upstairs and finds Demi's guitar*
Demi: *sits on the grass crying*
Sterling: *begins to play* im going to let out and be honest.
Demi: Sterling.. please.
Sterling: The truth was, before I started dating you.. I had a huge crush on miley.. in fact it wasn't even a crush.. I just thought that I could just hook up with her.. and feel accomplished.
Demi: *looks down*
Sterling: but the truth is.. this whole time I was a virgin.. until that vacation trip you and me took, I got to share that with someone.. special.
Demi: *lets out tears out*
Sterling: tonight at my party, I was sitting outside with miley because she was the only girl I could run back to, I couldn't hold in my anger seeing you and joe being all lovely and you walking out with him, she knew I played, so I played her a song not caring what youd think... when I saw you get into his car.. my heart sunk.. I couldn't take it. *looks down*
Demi: *reaches over him and kisses him on the cheek*
Sterling: what was that for?
Demi: I love you.
