  • Thanks for posting this, I now have a better understanding of this misunderstood religious belief. I have been down on all religions but I have to say this one seems to be most peaceful and have the most logical and meaningful view of God. I would like to learn more.

  • @pucksterz12 - thank you for watching. I would suggest some different types of books on religion -- please check out the Tan Books website. Regards...

  • Sikhs are also famous in India for their self-deprecating humor. Here is one by Khushwant Singh:

Sikh scholars sat down to take Hinduism out of the Granth Sahib. They took it out page by page. In the end, however, they were left holding the binding cover in their hands.

  • Sikhs are not Muslims and are gentle and friendly people you can trust to help you in any emergency. Trust them and treat them well.

  • Doesn't it get confusing with everyone having the same last name? Are there are a ton of people who have the same exact first/last name which makes it hard to tell people apart?

  • my question is, how understanding would they be if say, an officer had to rush someone in their holy place (had to, like gunmen or something IDK) with their shoes on? I mean I know they are very rational people, but it's also a pretty major religious thing, so I just question that, among other unique circumstance.

  • Sikh stands for a student or is a Naadi Roop. Then how many Sikhs, Real, died during the holocausts?

Nanak was not a Guru but a Satguru called Christ.

People who have beards but they tie it up are hypocrites. BEARDS SHOULD BE FREE FLOWING.

  • Sikhs are great people. I was absolutely clueless about the culture. This video was well made and very informative. Thank you! :D

  • I dislike most organised religions but I admire Sikhs. Very friendly, honest, hard working people,

  • @hspannu777 Just look up the word prince in any Punjabi-English dictionary. It will be KAUR. The Guru Gobind Singh gave all Sikh men the name Singh and the Sikh women Kaur. This was meant to elevate the status of women.

  • @Shukria123 KAUR means princess...NOT prince.... woman have the middle name KAUR
