  • I presume that this applies only to those few speakers that have a wood (or wood veneer) finish. Most others have a synth-wood vinyl finish. Would Howard's be right for those?

  • @tubewinkle You are correct - but usually, if a speaker has real wood veneer, then it's probably of better quality anyway =)

  • With the grain not side to side? If that grain is side to side then that speaker was made 10 mins to 5 on Friday night

  • I have a question, how often do you have to re-apply the Feed n Wax? Would every year be too long, or not long enough?

  • Like you said with the grain not side to side?

  • Unfortunately your camera loses detail when you zoom in, but overall a nice demonstration on applying Howard's wood restoration products. There are so many choices out there, it's mind boggling. But, I think I might give this a try. :-)

  • Let me be the first to comment - Great video. I've got an old set of Sansui's with walnut veneer which I am going to do this to soon. Now I feel happier knowing there is not one bit of sanding involved. The last thing I want to do is sand through the veneer into the particle board.

Showing a closeup of the before would have been nice. Also wouldn't mind seeing a high res shot of it. Too much compression on the video from youtube and it's hard to see the detail.
