I'd like to thank her for her work and for always trying to bring awareness to The Indigenous people of the "western hemisphere"

  • would you guys just lay off for a change. I am white. I HAVE blonde hair and light eyes. I NEVER said my grandmother was a cherokee princess. Such things do not exist anyway! but I AM 1/8 indian blood and I am puke sick of hearing this constant putting down and ridiculing of us white people who do have indian blood and are proud of it. I DO get my Cherokee(Tsalagi) blood from my grandmother. I DO NOT say that to be cool and fit it. YOU NEED to stop judging all the people you see the same way.

  • @allisonforfornsed

    It's okay lady.

I'm actually happy to know that now white people want to be like us, when for more than 500 years ago the first invader tried to kill us ALL of.

We the Original Inhabitants of this continent we survived the genocide that killed 95% of our population.

  • there are alot of fake whites who claim native ancestry to be cool and fit in or to claim benefits like rednecks they ALL claim there half cherokee meanwhile they say if u aint white u aint right there hypocrites, i have an ex from texas who is blonde haired and green eyed meanwhile she said her great grandmother was a apache princess then when i would tell her mexicans are also natives she would get angry and say there different natives cuz she simply considers them wetbacks, fools eh!

  • @ANARCHYGOD2012

    You're right!

  • @srikrishnajay i ve also had arguments with white and african americans telling me that mexicans and central and south americans are really more spaniard, and then they have the audacity to tell me that they have native american ancestry as if it gives them more rights to be here in the united states then me who am at least 1/3 or more central american nahua indian related to the aztec living in the U.S of A the ancient homeland of aztecs and all nahua and pipil indians

  • @ANARCHYGOD2012 tell your ex why the comanche language and the aztec language called nahuatl are both derived from the same ancient native american language. obviously aztecs and comanche share a common ancestry

  • @allisonforfornsed every fuckin white guy says that he is part native american and maybe a very few are and probably less indian then u (1/8) yet people like u hate mexican even though most mexicans and central and south americans are at least 1/3 to 100% percent native americans. the united states is the ancient homeland of the aztecs. more and more discoveries have been made that there was interaction between north american indians and thier cousins the mexican indians.

  • I find it so wierd that you in America are so up with ancestry and ''breed''. Im a 1/8 cheerokee, 1/8 is low. I support the case of being proud of what you are, I am a sami, yet im, if biologically speaking im 5/9 sami, 2/9 finish, 2/9 valonian ancested sweed. Yet i refers me as sami, cause i am, a sami, that little percentage that im not will never be bigger then the mayority of what i am. i'm very intrested in native Am culture cause its simelar to our. Yet look each other as people, not race.

  • @SubcomandateMarcos according to who? there are certian tribes in north america who definately have cauciside genes from indo-european anscestory the halogroup x gene which is preveleant in the Isles of Scotland and also in the Mediteranian Sea area...the tribes which carry this DNA are cherokee navajo ojibway algonquin and sioux it is in higher consentrations in some of the populations than others...

  • it's funny how white ppl know the actual fraction of blood they were mixed with when "we" mexicans don't know squat about our heritage. and we have more amerindian blood than anglos in america.. maybe it's a "white" thing.. they are "naturally" organized.. But i'm not mad.. i'm jealous that I don't know where my bloodline comes from. I wish I can say I have Mexica blood but I can't because there are many tribes in mexico that speak different languages that would not consider themselves the same

  • @allisonforfornsed its more thin blood if your not from the nation you are not native

  • First off I will say that I am a proud Cherokee and Blackfoot.

Why is it that many still feel hate for people who have the same blood running through their bodies as our ancestors?

So what if someone looks white. Many of our people took white women for wifes, hence, is that to say that those who decended from that blood are not Cherokee?

I find it refreshing that there is a interest in going back and exploring the Native American heritage.

  • @ChiefOren

Testing was done on a group of Cherokee...there was no relation to any ancient Hebrew groups. We Native Americans originated in the western hemisphere. We never migrated here from another land.

  • I would like to know if there has been any attempt to do DNA testing for all those that claim to be Cherokee? Also, as per our oral history, we came from the East. Are we related in anyway to any of the Semite tribes from before 4500 years? This again maybe be settled by DNA testing. Maybe then, all the "Cherokees" will find out that they aren't. (BTW, I am only 1/2 Cherokee, my mother comes from German ancestory. My father's father is full Cherokee, and my Fathers Mother Choktaw.)
