The band Gotic - 70's progressive/fusion from spain. Known for their one album "Escenes" from 1977, but this song is not on that album, it was done after that, possibly for a rumored unreleased second album.

  • wonderful...fell in love with Spanish fusion through RTF. This takes me there.

  • @lowlight71 - then be sure to check out spanish 70s fusion group Iceberg, which is the closest any group has come to sounding like RTF. Start with their albums "Coses Nostres" and "Sentiments" first.

  • clearly spain is the ultimate place for jazz fusion iceberg and now this, are there any others i should know about?

  • @pinkfloydrule27 - yeah, another great 70s spanish fusion band is Barcelona Traction who have some clips on youtube. especially the one titled "Barcelona Traction canet rock" which is played live at a spanish woodstock type concert...they show the band playing later, but just people walking around at first, so hang in there as they really jam at the end. they have one album. iceberg is great, they are the spanish version of Return to Forever

  • Soon after Jep Nuix ( flute ) left the band, the remaining members began working on the follow up album.

Sadly after it was completed... it was shelved and sits somewhere in Spain in a dusty place.

The album has circulated in prog collectors circles, no need to say, pirated.

    A great second album !

Some time ago it was posted in a blog, soanish prog rock

  • omg! and all theese from my country??? my city?? i can't believe it!

  • great upload! thanks.

i thought i'd never see gotic on youtube.
