That was very beautiful.

Your movements break the thread of silk. If its qi development you seek, then you you need to keep looking. It's not about the form but how you move that is taiji or oneness with qi.

An intersesting interpretation of WCC Chen's form. O'Sensei said: 'The pattern itself is only secondary.Find the patterns true meaning, awaken your soul, and gain mastery of the heart!" Also, "Do not be imprisoned by form."

that is so true. but unfortunalty not everybody gets that. and they will be prisoners within the form

there are indeed many tai-chi praticioners. who claim to perform the form just like the master. forgetting that a form is like a living peace of art. wich can never be performed the same. they are stuck in the first stage of tai-chi. they must learn to break free, from the master.

As a long time student of Grandmaster Chen, I am wondering who taught you this form, or is it a combination of our form with contemporary Wushu movements? Are the hand gestures you have added to express the fa-jing in your form? Overly expressing fajing does not add power, but caused a disconnected taichi (the chi not following breath). I have seen Cheng Man-Ch'ing's form done by students of the Shr Jung School in Taiwan and none have the Wushu hand gestures / head movements you are using.

there are many ways to perform a form. tai-chi is in the first place a martial art, this form is more a martial aproach. when i do this form for chi development. the form is indeed without the fa-jing. and somewhat slower
