I am having a problem with my magellan car kit. It keeps turning ON and OFF every 10 to 40 seconds. I would like to know if you know of this issue and if it's KIT related or Car related, thank you for your support

The bluetooth function when the iphone is not docked in, is it just for hands free phone calls or does it also sends GPS NMEA data via bluetooth? Also can you explain better whats the point of having the multi-function button on the back when you can do all it does by taping the screen or pressing the home button? Thanks!
PS: from another video here in youtube comparing this car kit to the tomtom's, magellan's seems to have better accuracy

Hands free! The multifunction button on the back is for users who are driving and may want a button with resistance rather than a touchscreen.
