Evidently, she love her husband, and would do anything for him. And she has demonstrated in blood and sand, and then gods of the sand.

@minidomina, she is not as cruel as her maniatic husband who probably comes across as Bypolar to say the least. I understand some of her more cruel decisions in the show but the vindicates herself somehow at the end of the last episode of the series first season.
