  • this is a slow, low, sultry song meant to be backed by emotional jazz riffs. I agree with whoever said it's not the right song for you (maybe try some Tisket-a-Tasket or other cheerful higher-range songs). Also, the fact that you're frozen in one position until you start to sing, and that your movements are very rigid and seem pre-meditated, don't really suit the song either. Seductive, confident moves are what this song needs. Think Jessica Rabbit.

  • @spla08 I wasn't all that seductive when I was 15. Thanks for sharing though.

  • @spla08 Befor there was Jessica Rabbit there was Miss Peggy Lee who sang this song at the same tempo the girl in the video is singing it. I personally think the Peggy Lee version is better. To the singer in this video: Awesome job! To spla08: you fail

  • @toolbitch1 Thanks : )

  • you have an amazing voice and you have great diction when you sing. =)

only thing thats not right is the song. it doesnt really suit you.

  • You were amazing!

  • @toolbitch1 watch the one without Benny Goodman. IT'S NOT THE SAME TEMPO! :P

  • @spla08 watch the one with Benny Goodman. ITS THE SAME TEMPO!!!!!

  • @toolbitch1 Did you not read that I mentioned Peggy Lee? Check Lee's version again. Lower voice, sultry, slower. Thanks for coming out.

  • @crappyhappynappy uhhhhh..... Peggy Lee?

Hers is a much slower tempo and lower tone than this version, and Lee's version is the most famous of this song. This song, sung low and sultry by Lee is what made her the icon she became.

  • @spla08 between 1938 and 1988 this song was NEVER sang slowly and I think Jessica Rabbit butchered it when she sang it slow. How can you argue with 40 years of a UPTEMPO jazz classic?

  • @spla08 your confusing sultry with slutty (or as you called it, "seductive")
