The "Tom Rodgers" shown in this video (with a mispelled name in the video) is indeed alive, and coaching triathletes and cyclists at Endurathon-dot-com, and doing other things at TomRodgers-dot-com. There was another, younger "Tom Rodgers," a mountain biker, who did pass away a few years ago--totally unrelated to the ultracyclist and triathlete in the video.
