@enzofure1 Thanks for the advice. I have a steel frame now but Im looking to go a bit more agressive. I probably keep the steel frame for some days but I have also been looking at the Leader 725tr and Biacnchi Super Pista as options. definately want to go aluminum with the next one. I want a bike 18lbs or under. I dont trick on bikes other than the occasional wheelie or curb hop.

a track frame does not make it a track bike, it's a street bike

@FlyingKaveman moving the wheel closer to the frame actually increases handling, as the wheels are closer, but in contrast, it decreases aerodynamics, as the seat tube is restricting the flow of air coming off the tire and then slowing down the wheel... :P

I like the geometry and design of this frame. do you know the difference between this and the new TK3? with a carbon fork and seat post, would it be more comfortable to ride as a fixie on the road? I average about 80 miles a week.

@MetechStudios949 i don't know difference. i would not recommend this bike for a road fixie. there are many other choices out there. i would look at more classic steel designs...they ride much nicer and are way cool. pinerello, masi etc.
if you want aluminum go with specialized langster or bianchi

like i said before...it is a hot bike! it is a true track bike and is too stiff and the geometry is too agressive to ride on the road as a fixie or even a training bike.
if you are not using it for a track bike...get a specialized langster or something like that. they are more relaxed for road riding but still can be used on the track.
the seatpost is adjustable.

Hey i have one of those, 2008 model though. You're sane enough to have a brake on it haha.
By the way if you remove one link from your chain, it will allow you to push the wheel closer to the frame and make it slightly more aerodynamic. I did it on mine and it looks really cool
