FREEZE! *Improvisational Game*

FREEZE! is the grand-daddy of all Speech and Drama Improvisational Games! Also known as "Freeze Tag," it's a quick-thinking game that couples audience participation with stage movements! It's also one of the few games with no discernible beginning, middle, or end (in theory it could be played forever).

In this video (which was edited just a little bit), the students of the 2008--2009 Speech and Drama III class show off their skills!

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE:

Students, working as a collaborative group, will create elements of a dramatic performance in response to improvisational activities and directions presented by the instructor.
