Tommy is the fourth album by the English rock band The Who, released by Track and Polydor in the United Kingdom and Decca and MCA in the United States. A double album telling a loose story about a "deaf, dumb, and blind boy" who becomes the leader of a messianic movement, Tommy was the first musical work to be billed overtly as a rock opera. Released in 1969, the album was mostly composed by guitarist Pete Townshend.

  • Thanks for uploading the movie. This deserves more views.

  • I am ending this "debate" with this post because it has gone on long enough. So don't reply with a political insult. Please read some philosophical books, or something to help you think more rationally. And no I'm not going to say "stop acting retarded" like you do. However I can talk music. Quadrophrenia is a masterpiece because it deals with emotions, growing up, etc. But I don't think it has such a large picture in the writing or a fascinating story as Tommy, but is nearly as great as Tommy.

  • The hidden thing in this scene is he is climbing over these massive grey balls to get to his mother. If you remember she faints in small bullets in the beginning of the film. They are resembling the bullets!

  • This has opened a door for me....thank you for putting it on here. I have known about TOMMY, but I have never been able to see it.Thanks again...I cant wait to share it with the folks that I love. There isnt anything like The Who, and everyone should know it! First and foremost, the music in this whole film is unbelievable..since I love Roger, the acting was phenominal...and I LOVED Tina Turners part! This movie, along with other music, makes me wish that I lived in the 70's. :)thank you so much
