I was a student at TAS from 72-77, graduated stateside in '78. I loved my time in Iran and have always regretted the sad way things have transpired since I left. I think of my Persian friends who are likely no longer with us because of the policy and prejudices of the theocracy that rules the country. My heart goes out to all who are still and and all who have family, friends, pleasant and painful memories of the country I miss so much.

I went to second grade in Iran Zamin in 1980, I remember it was when the war started!

Wonderful to see this! I taught at Iranzamin briefly (1974-75). I recognize a few of these faces, but not who was who any longer.

How relatively relaxed and at ease the culture was at that time. It's hard to imagine anything remotely resembling this playful cavorting happening in today's Iran.

Thank you for posting, brings back memories. I went to Iranzamin from 1974 to 1978, but left in the middle of the revolution. Should have graduated in 1980. I could be in the background someplace. Chills went down my spine.
