Congressman John Boehner discussed the Republican Road to Recovery, a blueprint for the GOP budget that will be rolled out next week. Boehner said the GOP plan will include "less taxes," "less spending," and "real entitlement reform" and contrasted that with the President's budget which spends too much, taxes too much, and borrows too much.

  • lame excuse for a sound bite for that matter, its a shame Boehner is a spineless corporate sell out.. And whats with the fake tan & crying, someone needs to send him to bootcamp so he can learn whats its like to be a man.. What a sissy, what a joke...

  • lowest taxes in decades, and these yahoos complain about it... It's time to pay the bill and these idiots are trying to skip out on it....

  • I read that pamphlet the GOP put out as a budget.

It was a very interesting 10 minutes of reading.

It was also impossible to make a dramatic effect by slamming the pamphlet to the floor. It just didn't have the *thump* effect of the 1200 page real budget the democrats produced.

The pamphlet just kind of floated to the floor no matter how hard you tried to slam it down.

    Sigh...

The republican party is bankrupt. No bailouts. Sell the assets to the Libertarians.

  • How is that the same? If an employee gives money to a candidate they're perfectly within their right. Another diversion to take focus off Obama's proposal for trillions in deficits.

  • AZpatientX: No! They just announced it was Bank of America, Chrysler and some other sleaze-ball corporation. I guess he will help bail them out after taking thousand$ from individuals AFTER speaking strictly against it. That's where the hypocrisy & oxy-moron BS comes into play. I suppose he's pro-life too; but; also pro-war & death penalty....LOL!

BTW: Do you know if the contributions help pay for his usual 7-10 martini lunch & can of fake spray-tan he uses daily on his face?

  • mavrek47 - corporations can't give money to politicians. Their employees can, though. You're clearly a deep thinker, so tell me: are you against Americans being able to participate in the political process? Or do you reserve your outrage for politicians you don't like?

  • It was just announced House Minority Leader Boehner (aka Bonehead) just received money from 3 corporations who he's been crying about that received stimulus money last month. Isn't that ANOTHER example of your typical hypocritical oxy-moron RepubliCON dumb-shit? When will the hypocrisy end? Shouldn't he be in exile with the rest of the GOP at their respective FLDS Compound?

  • Was Beohner drinking again? Looked a bit squiffy.

  • why does boehner sign on to no more bailouts in their so-called budget, but then say, when asked if there will be any more bailout money when leaving the presser, 'we'll see...' ...?

and a massive tax break for the rich? wtf?

and the answer to the energy problem is 'Drill Baby Drill!'....again?

you can't possibly think anyone will take you seriously with this

I'm an Independent and this is a load of crap. I guarantee nothing will change from the failed Bush policies with you guys, you're fired

  • Silly me thinking budgets have numbers and figures and math instead of whining and stupidity.

The budget was 19 pages, and it contained not one number in it. This is not a good thing.
