iPhone: 2.2 firmware update street view

Tanglife: Here is a review of the 2.2 update on a 3G iPhone which has the GPS hardware. No tricks here, just some great apple software.
This update contains many bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
• Enhancements to Maps
- Google Street View
- public transit and walking directions
- display address of dropped pins
- share location via email
• Enhancements to Mail
- resolved isolated issues with scheduled fetching of email
- improved formatting of wide HTML email
• Improved stability and performance of Safari
• Podcasts are now available for download in iTunes
application (over Wi-Fi and cellular network)
• Decrease in call set-up failures and call drops
• Improved sound quality of visual voicemail messages
• Pressing the Home button from any Home screen takes
you to the first Home screen
• Preference to turn on/off auto-correction in Keyboard Settings

hey i was thinking if i should get the G1 or iphone which one should i get i need help

i dont own a G1, although i have heard about some nice features it has. I still believe the iPhone dominates the cellphone market at this point. I would like to hear from others. oh, but the battery is weak!

yes, this feature is free with any iphone service from AT&T.

good question. I know first gen does not have the gps chip. Except I dont think you need that chip for these fun features.

It's display screen is High Definition now. Realistically, they could only have certain perks to keep it at a decent price

These features come with the 2.2.1 firmware so all you have to do is to update, yeah that simple
