I got tired of watching rescuers floundering to rescue thin ice victims, so I decided to design something that really works.

  • Introducing The brand new Leap Frog Life Saver or leap frog rescue device. Brian Turensky takes credit for the name. No seriously cool tool man.

  • @sublimeasme I like the name because they are like lily pads that a frog could hop on.

Other names I've considered are. "The Walking Bridge" "The Galilee"

I also thought about incorporating my last name into it. "The Ice Ford"

  • you ever consider that instead of 2 squares that can go over you.how bout 2 circles and the next one goes around you...its a great invention keep it up

  • I actually did think of having the platforms "go around" instead of overhead but the design would be more complex and I was not able to figure out a way to utilize a retrieve line to pull the unit back to shore as I do on the current configuration.

  • what is the name of the floatation device?

  • There is no official name for it. Any ideas?
