7th groove I think you have your dates wrong. The RX5 was released in 1986. And immortalized on Cameos WORD UP. You must be thinking of the RX11 or RX15. They were pre---RX5

I have one in my studio and it was the second major drum machine I used in the studio...back in 85. I have all the drum cards for it.

wow...nice shot man :)
In RX 5 the best are hi-hat,shaker or crash sounds. Others need EQ, compression, etc....too sterill for me :(
