The mouse is very sensitive. It can pick up and vibration of your PC desk and turns it into "movement". Try this, clear your desk of anything that vibrates (PC case, keyboard fan) and see what happens. The mouse can be so sensitive, that it can pick up the subwoofer on the floor from up to 3 feet away from the desk.
