Schwangau, Germany: Fairy Tale Castle

Bavaria's 'Mad' King Ludwig built the castle of his dreams, Neuschwanstein, a mere fifteen minute walk from Hohenschwangau, his boyhood castle home. Shortly after setting into Neuschwanstein, Ludwig was declared mentally unfit to rule and eventually found dead; the circumstances of his death remaining a mystery to this day. Breathtaking. Even though I've just lost my breath, I can still use my keyboard. The precision, and detail involved in Neuschwanstein, is indescribable. Almost hard to believe it was built by mortal men.

A very fine introduction to Ludwig the 2nd's fantastic world - but how did you manage to film the interior shots? I was informed there was neither video or regular photography allowed - so I had to rely on downloaded (and inferior) images. Beautiful work!
