Gorgeous country and amazing people. My regards to all Israeli people.
The Israel State should always exist. Such a amazing place to live, to travel must be defended. Always.

Important video! There's a great quiz at the Jerusalem Center's wesbite jcpa.org to test your knowledge on this important chapter in Jewish history.

Coincidentally, Suzy Eban passed on on the eve of Durban 3 and an other UN Statehood vote.

I am a second generation Jew..........from the planet Brooklyn, NY where all great things are!
We are the strongest of people, we love life and peace.........enemies of Israel and the Jewish people understand, we will never disappear, continually turn the other cheek, and agree to politically correct demeanor just because those in that den of thieves (UN) think we should.
We only want to follow the dictates of G-D, and will fight to the death to protect our solemn right to exist.
Shalom.

Great History Story. Only jealous people of the little Jewish State cry as if they have no state of their own. AM ISRAEL HAI FOREVER!

@daphnepearl1 I'm British and a non-Jew, and I was also born several months after Israel was established. I can't respond like a Jew, but I still do all in my power to support and defend Israel, and the significance of this little film is not lost on me by any means. The creation of Israel should not be seen simply as a triumph for the Jews, but as something of great significance for the whole of mankind. For Jews it was the greatest event in 2000 years. Am Yisrael chai.

A British Jew I was born soon a few months after Israel's birth. A lovely and moving documentation of the story.
Am Yisrael Chai!
