Baton Rouge (Louisiana): Bobby Jindal, son of Indian immigrants, became the first non-White and the youngest Governor of the US state of Louisiana when he impressively defeated his opponents in the gubernatorial poll.


A day before the result was announced, he spoke to CNN-INDIA's Anirudh Bhattacharyya about his election campaign.

well as a desi myself too, i dont agree with this man's politics. im just surprised at the fact that he won and i find alot of similiarity between his campaign and that of barak obama's. i mean let's be real, obama simply ripped off jindal's campaign. i honestly think it inspired him as well to run for president.
