Porsche Club of America Autocross at Pellissippi State

One of my runs in the new ride at the PCA event today. Yes, I upgraded from the Maxima to the STI Limited... :D

No in-car camera mount yet, but I should have it finished by the next event.

so what was you're time and what did you place?

First run was a 41.1XX, fastest clean run a 40.2XX and fastest dirty run 40.1XX... Pesky cones!

The way the PCA does the AX events is all the Porsches compete with one another and the "other cars" are lumped in a class with a modifier based their SCCA class. Very much like SCCA's Novice and Pro classes. Honestly, out of the 28 total, I have no idea where I placed in raw times. For just the SCCA drivers, I'm sure I was towards the bottom, though.

Just keep at it, you'll get up their. Especially now that you got a better car. (still love the Maxima though).

Thanks! I have no doubt my skills will improve, especially next year when I go from the 225 wide (why, Subaru, why?) to some class-maximum 245 tires! I will admit, the Maxima was a fun car, but the STI is even more fun... >:D

What actually happened to you're Maxima anyway.

I tried to sell it for about a month before I found the STI. I had plenty of "nice price" comments, and slowly took off and sold the aftermarket stuff. Then the STI showed up and I traded the Max to avoid the hassle of selling it. Got a decent price, so it's all good.
