@jpaulgood Thanks - I'd be very interested to hear how it flys..I am sure you are right about strong winds. Definitely a fair weather flier! Not yet tried to take off from water. Do you recommend fitting the wing floats? How easy is it to control on water?

Nice flying. I have the same model. Using the recommended CG (55mm back from the leading edge) I find it quite difficult to fly - although I am a bad pilot! It seems to "tip stall".It would be very helpful to know where you have your CG? I read that 70mm is good, but that sounds dangerously tail heavy. May try 60mm. Regards, Paul.

@jpaulgood I have the CG at 50mm from the leading edge now and haven't had any tip stalls since. I do think the CG should be even more forward. This airplane does become unstable with strong wind and also during some maneuvers I notice it should be better to move the CG further forward. This plane has a large dihedral so it really must not be tail heavy. I'm planning to move the CG to 45-40mm from the leading edge for the next flight.
