Pole Dancing tutorial: Sunwheel spin on spinning and static pole

For my personal practice and routine vids please visit my other channel http://www.youtube.com/user/dirdybirdy101

IMPORTANT: Please warm up before any rigorous exercise to help reduce risk of injury. Some warm ups before dancing:
- shoulder rolls
- arm swings
- head rolls and stretches
- rotate wrists and stretch them
- warm up torso by doing body rolls, torso twists
- squats, light stretches (do longer and deeper stretches AFTER a workout)
- push ups

Note: Pole dancing, like other forms of sport or physical activity, involves risk of injury. I'll try my best to provide the best advice and information to minimise these risks, however, this responsibility is ultimately yours. Take care, and don't over push yourself. Always start from the bottom and work your way up. DO NOT attempt a move that you are not ready for

  • I wish I had a spinning pole... Things don't look as good on static

  • would have been perfect if you sexy were to put high heels off leash

  • @dirdybirdy101 - Success when i tried today :o)))

  • @dirdybirdy101, just worked out how to reply, thanks :o)))

  • @ThePolechick On spinning, make sure you drop back away from the pole, your arms are straight and pulling the pole as your body is falling back away from the pole. If you are strong enough you can use that bottom arm to push away on spinny mode. But for beginners this hard to do so they'll need to have both hands high.

Let me know how you go :)

  • I can perfectly execute this move on a static pole but not on a spinning pole, thank you for sharing this as i wouldn't have thought it possible if i hadn't of seen it. I will try with my bottom hand up higher on spinning from now on :o)))

  • @DGPoledance This has so many names, ankle hook attitude spin, pinwheel, ankle hook stag! I've put my foot down and chose one name lol

  • Awww, so cool!! I thought I was the only one who calls this a Sunwheel! :)
