  • The only thing I could find wrong with this model is that the escape hatch is modeled into the rear portion of the bottom of the hull and should be directly under the driver. The anti-mine armor had a space in it for the escape hatch. I served on Sheridans with the 2nd ACR in Germany for 4 years and was an instructor on them at Ft Knox.

  • I used to be on Sheridans. This model is actually an M551A1. This particular version was used by the 82nd Airborne Division. The model is equipped with the Mine Protective Kit but I don't think the 82nd used the kit due to it's weight.

  • excellent model! dude you know a C-5B Galaxy dropped 4 of these and 83 paratroopers. I would hate to see what the C-5M SuperGalaxy can do when it enters service
