here's my problem...i know mccain is a bush/cheney lackey...how can i vote for a republican after they bankrupted america the past 8 years...$490 billion dollar federal deficit just reported...but i took my kid to the "splish splash water park" last sunday..to my shock..it looked like africa..thousands of blacks..and i dont mean nice respectable types like the obamas..no these were crude, rude, arrogant, loud, obnoxious, foul mouthed "niggas"..so i will vote mccain and i dont want to.

HR 6304. Obama voted yes in striking telecom immunity from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.  This was in July of 09 and was shot down by Republicans and would have taken away the telecoms full immunity from such cases. I think you might have misunderstood the vote. Look Obama is not the perfect candidate as nobody is, but he has a 96% consistency in senate voting. I welcome the debate and not the insults. Please no more offensive remarks but substance. thanks.

farizan...you failed to address my real concern and that is obama's bogus voting record. EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING TO ME:

#1 - obama voted for the bush bill that gave tax breaks to oil companies and that bill was crafted by dick cheney. obama voted for it.

#2- ONE MONTH ago bush put forth a bill to give telecoms "full immunity" from being sued for wiretapping americans. OBAMA VOTED FOR IT!!

Obama also has proposed great deal of investment in renewable energy and is against drilling in Alaska as well as standing up to the gas tax holiday when McCain was using it for political expediency. Obama realizes there is no quick fix to energy. You said that the main reason you are hesitant for voting for Obama is your experience at an amusement park. Although he is way ahead and his election is virtually a lock, please don't pass on narrow mindedness to your kids. thanks.
