BOTH scriptures and passage say that if you just FEAR from an innocent possibly turning out bad or rebellious, you can BEAT (4:34) or KILL (18:74-81). When Jim Bakker of the "PTL" network cheated on his wife Tammy Faye, it was headline news for months, along with the financial mismanagement scandal. I realize Bridges never got that big, but I didn't see this murder covered in the evening news even once, here on the west coast.... Double standard? I think the media is eager to scandalize Christians whenever possible. They are eager to ignore Muslim scandals as much as possible.
