cool Parenting Skills!

I agree with you dad:)

Very true... There are a lot of Adults out there that need the training in themselves prior to teaching the children.

I can't believe what I was taught growing up! I went to Catholic school for many years and it's astonishing that in the modern age they shove that load of bull down children's throats and ask them to accept it as truth. It's a sin to question if in reality it's even possibe! IT's absolute child abuse to teach children that the devil can possess you, God sent himself down through a human virgin to kill himself and we are all to worship this dude's execution and drink his blood and eat his body

My mother didn't give a rat's ass if I was happy in school or not. In fact she whipped me for just about every bad grade I had. I still ask myself why is she mad at me because I'm not making some grade total strangers say are good. It's sick and twisted when you actually think about it. There's no way I could do that to my children.

Human Beings have mirror neurons, these neurons are important to humans in that they bring natural imitation instincts\...how have people learned throughout history?...imitation..imitatio
n is an important part of learning and is a natural instinct to people...I think as science continues to learn things about human nature we are going to see greater amount of attention placed on mirror neurons. -
My Dad used to say that the trouble with Christians is they don't act much like Christians.
-
well said. i see people bashing Christians all the time with examples of how they were treated and my first thought is always, that the person they call a "Christian" in their example wasn't being very Christ-like.

Thanks for the video, John. I'm no parent myself, but it's always good to be prepared.
how about turning off the TV and reading kids a good book?

Well, if you really want to keep your child away from destructive cultural influences, the first step is to sell your TV. Second, find a small school to educate your child, or if you can manage, do homeschooling. :)
