This is a custom order album I made for a customer in FL. It was a challenge becuase the school mascot is the Dreadnaughts and the colors are orange and black, I hate orange LOL !!! The customer said I can use a battleship and an anchor for mascots..... well these are not readily available so I had to improvise and make a lot of the embellishments with my computer. It was fun though!! Even with standing there staring at it wondering how I am going to make an entire album without any embellishments ready to go and only 2 colors. Since I'm in Texas and she's in Florida she hasn't seen it yet.......I hope she likes it!!

  • Love, Love Love this mini. Would love to see a tutorial to see how you made it. Lots of neat things in it.

I love the sewing on the pages. I would like to know and/or see how you put the pages together...did you glue the paper to the bag or sew on the paper then glue it down?

  • @SandraBevr01 I sew the papers together then glue them to the pages. The paper bags are sewn first though....... down the "spine" and the outer edge so that the pockets don't expand to much. I think it makes the album sturdier and I use heavy weight bags.... not the thin ones from the grocery store. I can make a video of one being assembled becuase I have had another equest for this. Have a great day!

  • @SandraBevr01 Hi,

I sew the papers/mats together first then use adhesive to attached the to the pages. The bags are sewn also: down the spine and the egdes to keep the pockects from opening to much. I'm going to do a video of how I bind the books for a few others that have asked and will also add this. Shouldn't be long I'm working on an album now and will be using that one for the video. Thanks!
