  • This is beautiful! I'm following your progress and am so anious to see the final product! Is this an actual village, or a set for the movie?

    A totihi mahi yai!

  • Thanks for following the film! We're actually showing at Breckenridge Festival of Film this June if you're anywhere nearby and want to see the finished product. This footage is an actual village and not a set.

  • @hexcane - Your concern is much appreciated by our Yanomami friends. This particular film was made at the request and with the supervision of the Yanomami themselves. It represents a story they want to tell, rather than an outsider's view of their culture.

  • @hexcane - Your concern is much appreciated by our Yanomami friends. This particular film was originated by the Yanomami themselves, not anthropologists, so it reflects their own story, not an outsider's view of their culture.

  • Beautiful footage but too bad missionaries are impossing their beliefs and distroying the last of the indigenous cultures on this planet.

  • @theenemygod do u know how they make there bows?

  • No you wouldn't, they're notorious for constant inter-village wars.

  • I would love to live with them.. Is that possible?
