Portal - Chamber 13 in 4 Steps

To get to the exit in just 2 steps, place the portals as shown and face the center of the elevator when exiting the blue portal so you are going to take the shortest path to the exit. Then move backwards just after the peak before falling down in the blue portal, start moving forward right as you pass through the portal to enter the orange one at the very front and gain maximum forward velocity. Crouch before you land, keep the crouch button pressed and jump as soon as you glide on the bottom step. Takes some practice to get right, but is very doable.

this chamber has an "ending" where glados opens the dor without needing any cubes for the butons, and not involving cheats or glitches. it is useless, though, because the player should already be able to get on the other side.

I'm going to be using this guide as, I can't even seem to get out of the elevator without using 4 steps, and then then screw up on my steps getting to the elevator. This guide thankfully shows a way to make up for those steps, and I thank you for putting it up :).
