@dominoluver1 Has twilight received any nominations from oscars??No,but Harry Potter has!!Twilight will be forgotten in 3 years from now but HP will remain in history!!!Harry Potter movies are phenomenal (they are not just ok)!JK Rowling wrote a masterpiece about friendship,death,love e.t.c whereas Stephanie Meyer created a book about obsessive and unhealthy love!!Anf if the Harry Potter movies appealed only to nerds then please tell me why the last movie is the third most successful movie ever?

It won't be if us Potter fans keep comparing the two. Seriously, I hate when people bring up Twilight for that reason. Why do we feel the need to establish Harry Potter's dominance over Twilight? Most things are better than Twilight. Do we see Harry Potter on some sort of similar level with Twilight? I hope not.

Comparing the two is condescending to Harry Potter and further immortalizes Twilight.

HP will surely become a classic, such as Star wars did, but TW will be remembered just as a stupid movie series about forgeting everything (even family and friends) only for one man! that shouldn't be a role model for people!

@dominoluver1 is right about twilight and HP. Besides, sometimes twlight seems to be more popular than HP, but they cannot against Hp in any way! the biggest gross twilight movie is even less than the lowest grossing Hp movie (the prisoner of azakaban). Also, HP7-2 got to the 1 billion grossing worldwide in about 19 days, and TW 4-1 it's been around 22 days out ans still so far from breaking Harry's records!
