To honor Barack Obama's 20 year relationship with his former Pastor and Spiritual Mentor, I propose that all speeches by President Obama be followed by some choice words by the good Rev.
After all, Obama did get the title of his book, "The Audacity of Hope" from the first Reverend Wright sermon he ever heard. He liked that sermon so much that he quotes it approvingly:
The title of Reverend Wright's sermon that morning was "The Audacity of Hope." He began with a passage from the Book of Samuel—the story of Hannah, who, barren and taunted by her rivals, had wept and shaken in prayer before her God. The story reminded him, he said, of a sermon a fellow pastor had preached at a conference some years before, in which the pastor described going to a museum and being confronted by a painting title Hope....
"It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks' greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere...That's the world! On which hope sits!"
from Obama's book Dreams from my Father
Yes, what a great unifier this Barack Obama is!
OK well I did the research and, thanks to no one, found the origination of this statement. This recording was from his "audio book", I saw the actual book, where he is directly quoting something that pig wright was saying. As disgusting as I think he is I have to reveal truth as I am a moderate.

But Palin, who doesn't even understand that Africa is a CONTINENT, is totally peachy keen for VP and potential president? Did 8 years of Bush teach us nothing?
As a wise dude in NC said recently (and I'm paraphrasing), if I want someone to have a drink with, I've got buddies for that. I want my president to be intelligent, calm and wise.
McCain used to be those things, until he chose to trash his own ethics seeking victory. Obama kept his head held high and he won. Gobama!

I put highlights of the Republican convention on my blog, including
We must never forget what government is not. Its not a philanthropic organization. And its not the family. And its certainly not the church. - Rep. Michelle Bachmann
Im not a Republican because I grew up rich, but because I didnt want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me. - Huckabee
A government that can give everything to you, can take everything from you.
