  • thanks! I am considering moving away from disposables and couldn't figure out how these worked... now I know :)

  • It's so cool they have those things. I have a friend who's a mother and is green all the way, breastfeeding and all! She told me about the modern cloth diapers and even though I don't have a husband or children yet it's cool to hear about these things so I have some idea how I'll take care of a baby once I do have one. : )

  • @yasmel33 Appreciate the tip. Even if I never have a baby of my own this is good stuff for baby shower shopping for friends and such.

  • @Lavenderrose73

Slings are great as long as you buy the good ones.

The BJorn, Snuglie, Jeep and those others sold in regular stores at the worst. Google Infant Carriers and Spinal Stress by by Rochelle L. Casses, D.C. and you will see why they are so bad.

For good slings go to The Babywearer forums.

  • bumGenius Artist Series!!!!!! Go to cottonbabies and preorder now they are SOOOO cute, really if you like the dipes in the video you will love the new artist series

  • @Lavenderrose73

wow that sounds exciting. I mean I like autralia and all but, that's a long time to wait. What are you studiying?

  • @niamh2739 I currently wait on standby in the event that just one fellow college student drops from the Study Abroad program to Perth, as this year I am the 1st Alternate. this is my 3rd year I applied to study abroad there and for 2 years not a day went by that I didn't think about going out there. After meeting a few people from Australia, I decided I wanted to meet the rest of them. If I am called to relieve someone I will go in February.

  • @Lavenderrose73

    Australia?

  • @niamh2739 ...and don't get me started with Australia!

  • @Lavenderrose73 * HI BARBARA * LOL HE HE HE

  • @niamh2739 Hi, I'm Barbara and I'm a javaholic! x D

  • @Lavenderrose73

LOL "Hi I an Nia and I am a worry wart.......* HI NIA * " LMAO

  • @niamh2739 Oh, I have anxiety so join the club. Lol

  • @Lavenderrose73

well that makes sence... IDK all slings make me nervous they all seem very breakable and not so durable at all. Maby I am just paranoid ; )

  • @niamh2739 I've actually read that the slings aren't the best to use because something about the baby could roll out or something, and that that front pack thing you put the baby in and s/he's up against your chest is a lot better, especially since babies tend to want to be up so they can see what's going on once they're several weeks or months old.

  • @Lavenderrose73

omg I know...those sling things make me nervouse though, I guess that I just don't get the whole dynamics of it just yet. Lol

you should check out Parkerfur's Channel, she is also great and has tons of videos on this topic and how to on the go etc...

  • Cool, diapers that grow with the baby. Cute baby in the background. ; )

  • @niamh2739 Lol and who knows what they'll have by the time I DO have a child. I also love those slings and other things that would hold the baby FOR me while still having the baby right here with me. : ) The first time I ever saw a sling was at school when a fellow college student was holding her baby in it during her class time.

  • how many should you buy at first and how expensive are they?

  • what do you do if you are out all day with the baby and have dirty diapers?

  • @Lavenderrose73

I feel exactly the same way ! This is awesome

  • Do not hesitate!!! Go green. You won't regret it!!!

  • Thank you for the video, we were afraid our boy would wake up in a puddle but this has reassured us.
