  • @sydchris517 I plan on doing a couple more soon, like in the next week or so.. And I totally love the fact that other potters put up their videos, so cool to see other people throwing :)

  • was the mug just unfired clay?

  • @gtsdmusic yeah, this mug was unfired. the clay is moist enough that it stuck to the tool a bit, but I have since done this when it is a bit drier. Not so dry that it chips, but not so wet that is sticks.

  • @skeletaldropkick gut? um. I meant GUY. hehe...

  • @hobbypotter this gut took a total of about an hour to do the carving, including the 10 minutes to put on the iron oxide. I've done another since then and it took me about 40 minutes, so I think I am getting better :)

  • How long does this take you in real time ? :)
