  • Subtle 5 Gum placement.

  • got to get the brass back the sound is so much thinner without it... they can well afford at least one of the brass players now....

  • BEST BAND EVER!!!!! They're so perfect.

  • Nice attention to detail with the screen in front of the piano...btw..I love the last minute tooo!!

  • @bennyuk55 I'm sure the media would've seen that as "second fiddle", but maybe the fans would've seen it differently. I didn't find U2's performance as amazing and exciting as the media were making it out to be leading up to the Festival. And Coldplay, as much as they are my favourite band, kind of piss me off sometimes 'cause they always need some props and shit falling from the sky to catch the audience. AF would've been just them and their instruments. The audience would love the music.

  • @broadworld Has anyone considered they didn't want to? Their manager isn't stupid. Playing Hyde Park then returning for two more UK dates gave them a higher profile than playing second fiddle to U2 and Coldplay at Worthy Farm (as the media would have seen it). Magnetic Hill just proved they can steal the show from U2 whenever they want to and on their terms. Their time will come to headline Glastonbury and it will be after the next album.

  • In context of the album this song is a real 'Meeting with the Goddess' moment, at least to me.

  • @broadworld I agree. They definately would have gone down much better than Beyonce. The headliners for 2013 are already booked apparently though so hopefully Eavis had the sense to book them for then.

  • @markieowen4eva Such a shame they didn't. Arcade Fire aren't unfamiliar to the English festival goers. I would've much rather appreciated them headlining during the Sunday night Beyonce performed. How wonderful would it have been to read that the top 3 headliners could have been U2, Coldplay, and Arcade Fire? Sometimes, I wonder if Michael Eavis is sane when it comes to choosing bands for Glasto.

  • @broadworld I know!!!
