Remember the joy of 300 baud? Friends and I set up a computer
Bulletin Board System (BBS) in Nov. 1984 with a Radio Shack Color Computer
and a 300 baud modem. It was a way keep track of the next Shuttle launch,
any comets or other celestial events. I caught one session in 1986 on VHS tape,
only recently got an S-VHS to play it back well enough to digitize.
L5 Society merged with NSI to become the National Space Society.
Wonder if anyone who used the BBS back in the day went to work
for NASA, or became a space scientist?
