State Takes Over 4 Rural Okla. town in Bad Water Crisis (2 of 10)

Folks of Stuart Oklahoma showed up in mass at community meeting that was headed by newly formed Community Impact Panel for update on what's being done about the contaminated water.

Hughes County Commissioner has used his truck to haul sand to the plant.

It was relayed that the State agencies are working on the bad water problem & will not quit until the job is done. The town is getting repairs to the leaks & water lines.

If the folks see a leak, its no use in reporting it to the rural water district #2. So folks were advised to report it to the Impact Panel.

DEQ said they will see to it that Stuart Oklahoma folks WILL HAVE drinkable water.
