@Revolutionary94 this is based on fallout, so going by that timeline its been a wasteland for quite a long time. in new vegas i believe it was around 200 years or so. fallout 3 was set a bit before that. still, in both games no one except ghouls who live longer than regular humans were around before it was a wasteland, so its been a few generations.

@Revolutionary94 AIDS probably wouldn't be a problem in a wasteland type place since medicine to manage it would no longer be manufactured. people who have most diseases that are currently treatable would be dead, also the average person would have a much stronger immune system due to being exposed to more types of pathogens on a regular basis.

.....Nuka breaks better but this is ok
