Darren Criss covers Teenage Dream LIVE at The Mint in L.A.

I love that Darren is fandom-aware (or that he's somehow clued in) because I love how much he's communicating with the AVPM/S fans to welcome Glee fans to the family.
I truly have respect for him in doing that, considering how brutal people can be out here. Also, I should probably say at this point that my own enthusiasm for HP fandom had been waning for some time now.

My first love is music and if it hadn't been for Glee, I probably wouldn't have seen Mr. Criss do his thing. He looked familiar.

After doing some research, coz his performance is SO infectious, I got all giddy because of the HP connection.

Great job Darren!

I can't reply below, so, I'll reply here: @fopower Actually, Darren said it during the show. He said, Glee fans are now part of the family. I think he hopes for people to be good to each other and not be a$$holes.

I know lots of people at work who saw the Glee ep and are now smitten with his work and know nothing of his HP fan-related work. So yeah, props 4 all!

About the video:
Obviously he didn't do the dancing or have the bubs there to back him;) That being said, it was awesome to hear him with just the guitar sing this number.
This was part of the acoustic set that was added on 11-13-10 after Darren's 2pm show was sold out.

@chabanabam This was the evening show. It was just him and his guitar. The other song he did that blew me away I accidentally posted to my husband's youtube account @theirongiant. (He was still logged into it on my iPhone). Mr. Criss tweeted about last night while we were all at HP7.

@cacodoxic check out my reply to @x0xRuthx0x. I don't think Mr. Criss let them go to town on his voice/performance. It is however a polished show which calls for a certain amount of tweaking I guess. Thankfully, his live voice doesn't sounds that much different from his Glee number, aside from the arrangement, of course.

@x0xRuthx0x My friend (he's an audio engineer) talked to him outside at the meet and greet and asked him about the auto-tuning done on the show.Darren told him that he was given a lot of control over what was adjusted of which there was very little.

What I loved is that he spent very little time doing banter with the crowd and the little he did was in a humorous way e.g. the No Way song, which I also posted.
