The reason people were offended by that is because he assumed (and was wishing) Barack Obama would lose the race because of his skin color. Personally, I thought they (Hillary & Bill) got way, way too comfortable about the thought of winning - even at the point of this interview. Bill was arrogant and thought that all he had to do was highlight his terms in office and presto - his wife has the presidency. Boy did his speculation ever turn out to be wrong!

oh and lost the popular vote to Hillary in the 08 primaries but won because of the superdelegates. I will never understand how Hillary won the four most populous states (Texas, New York, California, and Florida) and still lost that primary...smells fishy.

exactly...which is why he wins most of the time...he has never faced a tough opponent except in his first race for U.S. Representative and so he has been elected by either getting his opponents kicked off the ballot, luckily having an opponent who was found to have a penchant for cheating on his wife, and facing a 72 year old man who represented the same party that the current unpopular president belonged to.

this is an easy response since you are so clueless...look at the numbers objectively...by no measure is obama doing well...step back from the kool aid and look at the reality that is the world around you. Though I shouldn't expect much logic or objectivity from someone who thinks that Bush was elected to a second term so that he could kill more U.S. citizens.
